Can I hire you to just look at a problem, without building anything?

Absolutely. In fact, hiring us to do a usability test or needs assessment is a smart move. The outside perspective we provide can be a great help to your internal decision-making process. Plus, our findings can serve as an excellent head-start when you later hire us to build a solution to your problem.

How much will my project cost?

The cost of any project depends on the total scope of the work being done - small projects need small budgets, and large projects need larger budgets. We offer a free 30-minute consultation that may help to put the project in perspective enough to offer an estimate.

Do you charge by the hour, or by fixed bid?

Both! Most of our clients prefer the flexibility of hourly billing. In general fixed bids are best for small, well-defined projects; for larger, less-well-defined projects, hourly (also known as time & materials) billing is the way to go. We use whatever billing method makes the most sense for the project.

Are you willing to do small projects?

We don't turn up our noses at small projects. We try to build solutions that are simple enough and scalable enough to solve problems inherent to businesses both large and small.

How will you invoice me?

For hourly projects, we invoice on the 1st of each month. For fixed-bid projects, we ask for a retainer up-front and invoice the remainder at agreed-upon milestones.
